This is a really nice place to stat, and excellent value for money. Owner and staff are super friendly and helpful. Room was spacious and spotless with a good shower and comfy bed. Easy to park on quiet road at the side of the property, and only a couple of minutes walk to pubs and restaurants. Good breakfast! Would use again if staying in the area.

My partner and I ended up there after having to book in short notice and struggling to find a place. We were very lucky! The staff were very helpful, the room was nice and large, and the breakfast was good. In struggling to find a parking spot they allowed us to leave our car inside. All in all great place and great staff. We will definitely be booking again on future trips to Scotland.

Very beautiful room, clean and warm. The owners are lovely and despite myself accidentally booking the wrong date, they was able to accommodate us. Complementary tea, coffee and toast. A few minute walk to the highstreet. I would definitely recommend.

A perfect host, perfect location and spotless rooms and ensuites. We stayed here as part of a golf trip and cannot praise Angela enough for her exemplary service. A short walk to the centre of town and with easy access to the Solway coast and wider Dumfriesshire and Wigtownshire area. The complimentary tea, coffee, toast and preserves was a great kick start to the day with lots of full breakfast options available 2 minutes walk away in the town. We'll be back!

Strongly recommend this place! Was looking for a last minute place to stay on my way up from London to the Isle of Harris. Arriving at 10:30pm, parking was directly outside with self service access and my room was perfect - large and spacious with a perfect bed /duvet / pillow combo. The house is a charming old Victorian with lots of character. The place was also very quiet and I had the best night sleep I've had in a long time. WiFi was great. The town centre is a few minutes walk down the street too. Oh and if you're looking for some incredible late night fish and chips on your way here, check out Memet's in nearby Gretna, was one of the best I've had!

I chose this hotel as I needed a family room for 2 adults and 3 children which is remarkably hard to find. It was the perfect stop on our way from South of England to North East of Scotland. I was really pleasantly surprised. The hotel is absolutely lovely with a lot of character, unlike the typical chains where rooms are all the same. The room was very comfortable and the children would have liked to stay for a week and not just overnight. The bed were really confortable. The room was clean with coffee/tea facility and 2 bottles of mineral which was really welcome. The host was fantastic, welcoming and really accomodating. I hadn't booked breakfast in advance but it was no problem. The breakfast was lovely. Overall, too short a stay as I would love to go back and enjoy the hotel and the area more. I would most certainly recommend this place. Lovely lovely lovely. Thank you.

Fabulous location and such friendly and helpful owners. Very clean with all the things you need and only steps from the centre. The price does not reflect the quality. Parking available. Comfy bed and nice quiet room. Great for exploring Annan, Gretna and surrounding areas. Would definitely stay again.

Angela and her husband have turned this beautiful dated building into a fabulous warm and inviting B&B. Breakfast was just the tastiest delicious experience. Over our two day stay, I had both choices on the breakfast menu, My wife and I wanted to stay on for the breakfast alone. Angela’s lady assistant was very helpful with her local knowledge of Annan, which was most helpful. Great WIFI and a very comfy room with the best of slumberland beds etc etc. Thank you so much Angela. Donna and I are both looking forward to seeing you again in the not too distant future.
